Our Meeting Location :
The Center for Wooden Boats
1010 Valley Street, Seattle WA 98109 (Map)
Parking near The Center for Wooden Boats can be a challenge. The Center for Wooden Boats has a small lot near the SLU Streetcar stop in Lake Union Park. When you arrive, please park with your car’s back facing the curb and get a parking pass from the greeter to put on your dashboard.
There is ample additional parking in several lots near by. We recommend the large public parking lot just off of Westlake Ave across the street from Courtyard by Marriott (925 Westlake Avenue North Seattle, WA 98109). Park here and walk around Lake Union Park.
The Center for Wooden Boats is at the extreme south end of Lake Union between Daniel’s Broiler and MOHAI (Museum of history and industry). We are about 5 minutes north of downtown by car, about 10 minutes by bicycle (Pronto City Cycle Bike Stand is onsite), 15 minutes by streetcar, and about 25 minutes on foot. Our address is 1010 Valley Street, Seattle, WA 98109.
You can also get directions to CWB from Google Maps.
NOTE: Mercer Street construction is almost complete, but traffic tends to be heavy during rush hour. Please check for construction and closure updates on the Seattle Department of Transportation website.
