On each third Thursday from July through October, Lake Union Rotary hosts a Happy Hour for Good at the Center for Wooden Boats. The evening takes place from 6-8 pm and includes live music, food, drink and a few words from our partner organization.

Please join us on October 16 to support the cooperation of Northwest Seaport Maritime Heritage Center and Crawford Nautical Training in providing maritime educational programs while preserving the maritime heritage of Puget Sound and the Northwest coast.

Northwest Seaport celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2024 and is one of the oldest maritime heritage organizations in the country. It owns three national historic ships that are museums and educational platforms: 1889 tugboat Arthur Foss, 1904 lightship No. 83 Swiftsure, and 1911 fishing boat Tordenskjold.

Crawford Nautical Training has been training mariners for nearly 100 years. Its mission is to eliminate barriers by meeting mariners where they are in their careers, providing exceptional maritime education, and igniting mariners’ confidence to pursue their professions at sea.

Live Music will be provided by The Jazz Guild, a hot new Seattle-based instrumental quintet that grew out of Jazz Night School, featuring guitar, french horn, trumpet, bass and drums.
